Households in Australia are wasting the equivalent of one shopping bag full of food each week costing Australians more than $2,000 each year. That’s awkward.

43%

In a recent survey by Hellmans (yes, we do geek out from time to time) 43% of respondents said they didn’t know where to get tips to avoid wasting food. Cleaaaarly hadn’t heard of us. Fear not, we got you.

  • Simplify your life with our effective meal planning strategies to help keep waste out of your bin

  • Saving the planet and your wallet in one go.

Are you… wanting a digital inventory tracker?

We aren’t ones to keep our friends hanging, and so while we pull our socks up to finalise the app, we have created a free, digital food inventory tracker. This tracker helps keep you… well, on track, to use your food before it expires. This tracker has not only helped us save money and the environment, it has also been a way to help offload the mental load that comes with keeping on top of your kitchen.

  • Print-friendly design, providing an at-a-glance view of your fridge's contents and their expiry dates.

  • Dedicated spaces to note down items and dates, allowing for personalised organisation.

  • A sustainable option to keep you on top of your kitchen game without any additional cost.

Are you… wanting a pantry planner?

For those you prefer putting pen to paper, here is a simple planner to keep on top of what is in that beautiful pantry of yours. Simple print it and plan it. Say g’bye to Turmeric from 7 years ago!

  • Add in your own supplies & keep track of what is coming up to it’s expiry day

  • We have included a section to allow you to take notes or ideas for when to use the ingredients - curry sauce anyone?

  • It’s not easy to free up space in our heads, but this planner is a sure way to do so. Keeping on top of your pantry will minimise the stress or guilt that comes with missing expiry dates.

Our story

Our journey began with a forgotten barramundi from Coles, meant to be a meal but instead serving as a $14 reminder wake up call to the amount of food wastage and personal burnout I was feeling. This led to the creation are you going to eat that, a solution for the overwhelmed, to automate your kitchen and help make eco-friendly choices at home. We are more than just reducing food waste; it's about transforming everyday decisions into positive impacts on our lives and the planet.
